EGYPT

Egypt is a mysterious and extraordinary country with a rich cultural heritage, captivating visitors with its perfect blend of ancient history and modern luxury. Every corner here serves as a living lesson in history and grandeur.

The country is bordered by both the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, which are connected by the Suez Canal.

A vacation on the shores of the Red Sea turns into an oasis of pleasure. Turquoise waters, impressive coral reefs, a rich underwater world, a wide variety of all-inclusive hotels, and affordable prices attract snorkeling enthusiasts, divers, and those seeking total relaxation.

The best time for a beach holiday is from March to November. Summers are hot (up to +45°C), but some resorts benefit from cooling sea breezes, which make the heat more bearable. In winter, average temperatures reach up to +24°C, though there are often nighttime drops down to +10°C. Cold winds can also be felt in winter, so it's better to choose hotels located in wind-sheltered bays.

From Chișinău airport, there are direct flights to the main resorts ( Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh).

For travelers arriving at Hurghada Airport, the visa costs $25. When visiting Sharm El Sheikh, a visa is free if you stay within the region, as a "Sinai Only" stamp is issued. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.

Egyptian cuisine combines culinary influences from the Middle East and the Mediterranean—dishes like koshari, falafel, fragrant soups, and oriental sweets such as basbousa and baklava create a true celebration of the senses.

Egypt is ideal for cultural exploration in winter and for beach vacations in summer. Traditional markets in Cairo and Luxor add genuine charm to any tour—handmade souvenirs, rare perfumes, and an unforgettable oriental atmosphere.

Egypt is a land of contrasts. Accessible to tourists of any budget and full of life, it’s a destination not to be missed.
